Essential Qualifications:

 

·         2-3 years experience in IT and Computer Services Industry:

·         Excellent knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows XP, Vista and Server 2003 operating systems and Microsoft BackOffice products (Exchange, SQL Server, etc.)

·         Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN and Wireless networking and VPN fundamentals is essential.

·         Experience with network applications such as backup, antivirus and management tools.

·         Experience with desktop applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, Internet browsers and security tools.

·         Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot network, software and hardware problems and make recommendations for possible solutions.

·         Ability to plan and manage your work day and schedule with limited supervision.

·         Be able to work efficiently and effectively under pressure.

·         Must have a positive and patient attitude with excellent communication skills when dealing with clients at all levels.

·         Strong organizational skills to keep track of clients, work history and services provided.

·         A valid drivers license with your own vehicle.

·         An excellent command of the English language.

 

Technical Assets:

 

·         Training and Certification in related IT programs (MCP, MCSE, A+ etc.)

·         Experience with VPN solutions and Remote Support procedures.

·         Willingness to continue education and experience with new training and education opportunities.

·         An excitement for the computer industry and desire to be challenged.

·         Ability to organize and prepare paperwork necessary to document all work in progress and completed work as well as recommendations for ongoing maintenance of client networks and systems.
